Barbra Hana-Austin was born on the kitchen table above her father’s linoleum store in Brooklyn. A few minutes after graduation from high school, she married and had two brilliant kids.
 
In 2017, Hana-Austin’s “Dietrich and Me” a very Brooklyn story was published in “One Hundred Voices” an Anthology, Vol ll. At the close of 2018, “Unlikely Friendship” a true story about a dog and cat was center stage in “Baywoof” the premier newspaper for animal lovers in San Francisco. Hana-Austin continues to write and her stories continue to appear throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
 
Barbra Hana-Austin has travelled the world but now makes Calistoga, California her home.
